Quality Assurance - Accreditation & Achievements

Porter Children's Center is seeking national accreditation which will correlate to a four-star COLORADO Shines rating.  COLORADO Shines is a state-wide initiative to measure the quality of child care centers. COLORADO Shines scores the major components of a program:

►  The Learning Environment

►  Family Partnerships

►  Training and Education of Staff

►  Teacher-to-Child Ratio and Group Size and

►  NAEYC Accreditation Status

Porter Children’s Center adheres to the standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) holds the highest requirements for quality in early childhood programs in the United States. NAEYC’s standards exceed those of the Colorado Rules and Regulations.
